Registration

All attendees must register and receive a conference badge in order to participate in conference activities.
Please read carefully the information below and contact isit2019@b2c-congress.com if you have any questions about registration.

Please note that online registration is available up to July 3, 2019. After this date you will need to register at the On-Site Registration Desks at the Convention Venue.
We recommend that you to register online prior to July 3, 2019 and pick up your badge on Sunday July 7, 2019 to avoid long waiting times of Monday morning.

Participant Registration Policy

  • Early bird rates expire on April 30, 2019 at 11:59pm (Local Paris Time).
  • If you will not attend the conference banquet and/or the welcome reception, please indicate so in the check-box selection where the catering choices are specified.
  • Please note that the conference dinner is bundled with the registration and not reimbursable, even if you indicate that you will not attend.

Extra Conference Dinner ticket

You may purchase at the time of registration an extra conference dinner ticket for an accompanying person at the price of 120€ per person.

The conference dinner will be held on Thursday July 11, 2019 at the Palais Brongniart, located 30 min away from the conference venue. (No transportation will be provided). The conference dinner will be served as a cocktail dining style. No special menus are available but a wide range of food will be proposed.

IT Events

During ISIT 2019, the IT Society has scheduled several events that are open to all attendees but require registration. Seats for some of these events are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Policies

Authors Registration Policy

Authors must register by April 30, 2019

  • At least one author per accepted paper must register.
  • For authors with multiple accepted papers, a single full registration (RG01 to RG03) covers up to three papers, while a reduced-price registration (RG04 to RG08) covers one paper only.
  • Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE ISIT 2019 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
  • IEEE IT POLICY: To be published in the IEEE ISIT 2019 Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, an author of each accepted paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference, unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions.

  • Please use the comment box called “special needs” in the registration form for any questions/concerns/special requests, we will get back to you.
  • Cancellation and refund policy: Before April 30 2019 a processing fee of 50 € will be charged; between April 30 2019 and June 07 2019, a processing fee of 50% will be charged; no refund will be made after June 07 2019. In case you experience visa difficulties, please contact us.

Registration Transfer Policy

  • All requests for registration transfers must be motivated and submitted to isit2019@b2c-congress.com and received by June 07 2019.
  • After June 07 2019, there will be a 100 Euros transfer fee imposed and possible additional fees depending upon the new registrant’s membership status for each request.

Privacy of Information Policy

Information provided by the registrant will only be used by IEEE and its organizational units to serve the registrant for this and potentially other IEEE sponsored events, and updating IEEE member records. In no way will any individual information be given through, for example sale, exchange, or loan, to a third party for any reasons except as required by the prevailing law.

Payment Policies

A registration is considered completed and valid only when the full payment has been received on the bank account.

Credit Card: Visa/Mastercard are accepted.

Bank transfer payment: a processing fee of 15 € is automatically added to the amount when the payment selected is bank transfer.

The late registration fee will be applied if the registration made with an advance rate is not fully paid before the deadline on 30 April 2019.

Payment made via wire transfer must be received 1 week the latest after your registration. If not, your registration will be considered as uncompleted and will be cancelled.

Visa Assistance Letters

Non-Authors and authors requiring visa assistance letters, must complete the Visa Assistance Request available in the registration form.

There are 3 options to request an official visa invitation letter:

  1. A pdf delivered by email = no charge
  2. Hard copy by standard surface/air mail (international stamp) = 25 Euros
  3. Hard copy by special delivery via DHL = 75 Euros

The fees for options 2 and 3, if selected, must be paid at the time of the conference registration when requesting a visa letter.
